With the launch of SPLITGATE: Arena Reloaded we've leveled up our progression systems. You can find more details on our Diving Deep on Progression article.
The Faction leveling system from Beta has been removed and in its place we have our new Career Level system. Your Career Level is how you track your long term account progression in Splitgate and it increases as you earn XP from playing any matchmade mode.
Career Level
The first 75 levels are your Rookie Levels which unlock core pieces of the game such as weapons, equipment and perks. You'll also unlock cosmetic items such as banners, charms, emotes, badges and character skins.
After finishing your Rookie Levels you'll get access to Challenger Levels. As you level up and reach milestone levels, you will earn additional Proelium and some of the rarest prestige cosmetics in the game, including badges, new color variants for player card titles, and Proelium Character Skins.
Challenger Levels spans 1000 levels and is split into tiers (beginning with Challenger and advancing to Prime III). Every 100 levels moves you into a new tier and you'll see your visual Career level reset back to level 1:
- Challenger
- Veteran I
- Veteran II
- Veteran III
- Elite I
- Elite II
- Elite III
- Prime I
- Prime II
- Prime III
Heads up!
If you already earned something in the old Faction system from Beta, you keep it. Even if that item now unlocks later in the Rookie track, it will still be available to you. Also all of the XP you put into that previous Faction system carries over and the total XP needed to finish the Rookie track is the same as before, so none of your time is lost. That means if you maxed out your Factions, you’ll skip right into Challenger Levels.
Weapons
Each weapon has its own rewards track that is leveled up just from using the weapon during matches. You will unlock weapon attachments, cosmetics items and new camos. Each camo will also include 3 additional variants that can be unlocked using Proelium.
